MIKIA WILSON

is 16-years old and has been with S.A.P.T. for 3 years.  Mikia is a wonderful writer and actress.  She adds thought provoking messages with her special twist of comedy and is one of the most multi-talented teens in SAPT.  Mikia has written a dramatic skit of her own called looks ain't everything.  She even wrote a theme song along with the assistance of her fellow S.A.P.T. members.  They had a chance to perform "Looks Ain't Everything" in front of 75 youth and it was a hit.

Mikia has been published in a compilation of poems titled SAPT Teens Spoken Word that was afforded by the Fulton County Arts Commssion.  Her signature poem, Make It Out! is most requested and recited.

Mikia has participated in the largest street festival of the Southeast held in downtown Atlanta..."The Sweet Auburn Springfestial for the past 2 years as a hostess on stage, poet, and rap/dance performance.  She also participated in an open mic performance at the National Black Arts Festival 2007.

Mikia has been getting bookings throughout the Metro Atlanta area through SAPT at Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCA's, Black Women's Wellness, The Center For Working Families and more.  Mikia is very popular at SAPT performances.  She is currently working on a CD Album for release soon.
