SWEET SUCCESS TALENT COMPETITION
was created by Charlotte Cain for a special
invitation to Pat Charles of B.E.T. for a 2008 special competition
at the Sweet Auburn Springfest to allow opportunities for Youth to be on B.E.T 106 & Park Wild-Out
Wednesdays that year. Several Artists and Groups were selected out of
that competition. |

Heed was
so Extraordinary that Charlotte made a special effort to have the
BET Exec, Pat Charles view their performance during the Springfest
2008! |
Heed was invited to appear on B.E.T. Wild Out Wednesdays on October 29th,
2008 at 6pm and then went on to make history by becoming the first
106 & Park House Band. They later signed with Capitol Records! |

With Sweet Success we had all sorts of winners. 1st
place plus $500 and 2nd & 3rd place awards...them we announced who made
the invite to 106 & Park and ALL FINALIST HAVE A CHANCE TO BE
INVITED regardless of whether the placed 1st 2nd or 3rd. |

This let Charlotte know that she definitely has an
eye for talent as she went on to get 8 total Artists and or Groups
out of 17 finalist she selected to also be invited at the discretion
of the BET exec on to a national television program that placed each
of these fortunate acts in front of 15 million households.
Charlotte always looks for opportunity to give Artists promotional
performances that can place them in front of the right people but
their talent, management and savvy have to do the rest. |
